Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) 

Racial Justice Fellow 

I worked in close collaboration with the HR, Communications and Curatorial teams to implement new institutional practices towards anti-racism. I participated in the weekly Comms team meeting, feeding into the strategic thinking and supporting their vision and actions. I led public workshops and brainstorm sessions for Staff. In June 2023, I convened a one-day symposium focusing on visitor research and artistic practice. Funded by Techne.

Victoria and Albert Museum | V&A Museum of Childhood

Collections Documentation Officer

I catalogued and digitised over 5,000 collection objects in the museum database, managing a large amount of information to tight deadlines. I analysed data and used collaborative problem-solving with the rest of the team to identify incongruencies in the process.  I wrote two blog posts for the V&A website. One of the posts championed the Staff's expertise and effort during the project, and reached over 1,200 reads by the time I finished my employment.

Victoria and Albert Museum V&A Museum of Childhood

Marketing Officer 

I played an active role in redefining the museum's public identity to 'Young V&A' - a complete transformation to target the museum to young people and family audiences. I created digital content for social media and enewsletters, commisioned print design and coordinated the production of all onsite marketing materials (posters, flyers and wayfinding).  I implemented a system of collecting visitor surveys through iPads at the main desk.

Marketing Assistant 

I supported all marketing campaigns for major exhibitions and events, and I actively participated in regular team brainstorming sessions and in-house training on audience development strategies. My areas of specialism were: TALKS & LEARNING I planned and delivered integrated marketing campaigns targeted to specific audience segments, including visually and aurally impaired, young people, families and adult learners. V&A SHOP | Acting Marketing Manager For a period of 6 months, I managed and produced content for the V&A Shop Instagram and email campaigns, including the sale of 9 artist editions prints for a total of £9K, and the Tim Walker exhibition range campaign. EVALUATOR I delivered audience surveys including in-depth interviews and observation studies.

Gallery Assistant

I assisted the public in the galleries and at information desks, including crowd management at late night events, and school groups. I answered phone queries at the V&A's switchboard, responded to visitor comments and complaints, and produced visitor figures' reports. I worked as part of a team of more than 100, from disparate walks of life and experience.

Barbican

Touring Exhibitions Assistant

I worked closely with the Head of Department, and a team of 3, to manage branding and logistics for the Barbican's touring exhibitions around the world.   I was responsible for managing the clients' database and relationships with international partners.

Tate | Tate Britain

Evaluator

I devised the Turner Prize Exhibition 2010 evaluation strategy, delivered 100 in-person interviews and produced an analysis of the Twitter feed. My final report with data visualisation received extremely positive feedback and was circulated internally at Tate, including Directorate.
